Head of Secondary

My career in education started in 2004 at Hillingdon Manor School, where I planned and delivered a specialist curriculum for children with autism. I went on to design learning pathways that were meaningful and accessible to young people of different strengths and needs. In 2009, I joined the senior leadership team as Assistant Headteacher with a focus on behaviour, emotional wellbeing and personal development. In 2016, I joined Eden Girls’ School, Slough, establishing its SEN department and implementing a systematic approach to pastoral support across the newly-opened school. As SENCo, I applied his expertise in the field of special education to ensure that teaching and learning was highly effective for all pupils. My latest role as Deputy Headteacher at Islamia Primary School focused on the operational and strategic development of the school. I am a dedicated educationalist with passion for raising professional standards and streamlining processes to enhance the school experience of all stakeholders.

Following a very successful year as Assistant Principal at GEMS Al Barsha National school, Mostafa is excited to be moving in to a new role as Deputy Head of Secondary.
