Ms. Kathryn Allen

Vice principal /Head of Girls

Kathryn has been a leader in primary schools, in both the UK and UAE, for 17 years (including Headship and Principalship). Prior to this, she was a School Improvement Consultant in the UK. Her total career has now spanned over 24 years in teaching and educational leadership – she has relished the opportunities and challenges in each role.

In addition to her degree BSc Hons, she holds a PGCE, special needs qualification (SENDip) and leadership qualification (National Professional Qualification for Headship), all gained in the UK.

Her experience and training has taught her that learning should be engaging and challenging and that pupils make outstanding progress when the provision is personalised and carefully tailored to their educational and wider needs and interests. When leading others, she has learned that collaboration and teamwork is crucial in ensuring the success of pupils, and that working closely with parents and communities is the key to successful schools.

She looks forward to building trusting and positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff. Her belief is that, by working together, inspiring, exciting and aspirational learning can be created so that students can become the achievers and leaders of the future that they have the potential to be
