The school is committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and the introduction of skills to lead students, including Students of Determination, towards happy and successful lives. We will develop intellectually capable young students with creative minds, healthy bodies, and ethical spirits that desire to offer a combination of wisdom, compassion and leadership to a global society. Respecting the dignity of the individual person and sensitive to the needs of a diverse society, we strive to enhance and strengthen the values students first acquired in their homes.
Our Aim for AY 2023-24
We have developed an extensive school enhancement plan to build on the strong progress achieved in our last KHDA inspection outcomes to ensure we offer our students a world-class education. Our most recently appointed Vice Principals, Ms. Emma Baker and Mr. Ahmed Touati join our Senior Leadership Team to drive this plan and bring in a wealth of expertise.
With academic enhancement at the forefront, Ms. Emma’s focus is to further elevate teaching and learning as well as student progress through curriculum refinement and cutting-edge technology. We want to ensure our students receive high-quality lessons within a fun learning environment at schools, supported with a robust parent partnership that extends to productive home-based learning. A key to supporting student progress is the introduction of BTEC qualifications, offering additional pathways to success. Learn more from Ms. Emma here:
Placing families and children at the heart of our decision-making, Mr. Ahmed Touati’s focus is on the well-being and experience of students at GNS. We have implemented impactful programs and strategies, with special attention given to core initiatives such as the ‘HAWIATEE’ values framework and the ‘Ayal Zayed’ character development award. These programmes are designed to provide students with essential skills, nurture leadership qualities, foster effective communication, enhance problem-solving capabilities, facilitate conflict resolution, and promote critical thinking. This emphasis on skill development is geared towards boosting students' self-assurance and preparing them to tackle challenges in both their educational journey and life beyond.
