Mr Vincent Maielle

Head of Secondary (Boys)

Vincent has vast experience of improving outcomes for all students and in particular those with Special Educational Needs. With over 5 years successful leadership experience, Vincent has held roles including SENCO, Assistant Headteacher and Senior Leader for the Sigma Multi-Academy Trust where he worked across several Primary and Secondary schools rapidly improving the outcomes for young people. As well as improving standards in a variety of challenging schools, he has been involved in government funded research projects and is a regular presenter at national conferences across the UK. During his time in leadership in the UK, he was awarded the SEND National Award for most inclusive practice across a secondary school, commended at The Educational Business Awards and recognised through the Pearson Teaching Awards.

Vincent studied Business Information Technology at University in England before returning to complete his Post Graduate Certificate in Education and then achieving Qualified Teacher Status. He also holds the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination.
