Mr Gareth Cooper
Assistant Principal – Whole School
My name is Gareth Cooper, and I am the Assistant Principal at GNS, where this year, I will primarily focus on student experience and wellbeing. I will also undertake the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead. With 12 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of developing both as a teacher and a leader, demonstrating my commitment to supporting students in reaching their full potential in an environment that encourages them to flourish in their passions.
For the past 7 years, I have been a part of the incredible GNS community, witnessing and contributing to the school's growth and success. I look forward to continuing this journey toward excellence alongside a fantastic family of students and colleagues.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active through golfing, running, and attending fitness camps. My greatest passion, however, is travel. I love exploring the world and experiencing new cultures, an interest that has been greatly enriched by my time in the UAE and at GNS. I am excited to welcome both returning, and new, students to GNS for the next academic year and look forward to contributing to the next chapter of GNS’s development and success.
